My name is Tanner, (Or 'Glyde,' if you prefer.) and I'm something of an aspiring comic book artist, I suppose. I like breaking the world down into melodramatic tales of fantastic feats and courageous heroes, and telling those tales with pages of panels and speech bubbles. Drawing comics and coming up with ideas for them has become as natural to me as playing with action figures was for me when I was younger. I love it.
As a member of Plaything, I intend to manage a collection of my own, personal webcomics, in addition to contributing to the collaborative webcomic that all of Plaything is involved in. At the same time, I want to take the opportunity to showcase my artwork to the public so that I can receive comments and criticism that I can use to develop my application of my artistic abilities. As things continue, my intents may change to include a broarder spectrum of goals.
In the grander scheme of things, I want to be able to do what I love to do, and manage to live comfortably because I'm able to do it. I want to develop my abilities and understanding of artistic techniques for the sake of producing brilliant, amazing things for the world to look upon for generations to come.
